T-mobile upgrade roll out

I just got a message from tmobile of a software update I am presuming its the new 2.1 when I downloaded it I got the same as what everyone else gets the Explanation mark in the triangle with a phone next to it.

I downloaded and then the progress bar went across then the above happened. I had to take the battery out and reboot the phone to get it back, has anyone else had the same on the t-mobile G2 ?

Sounds like the first part of the update has failed.

It did this for me and I had to re-flash the phone with the last ROM from November (I had this anyway) and it worked.
