Root T-Mobile USA Safe Apps to Remove

Here is a list of apps that come pre-installed that you may not want on your phone. It is safe to disable/freeze/delete these (I prefer disable/freeze unless you are hurting for app space).

You can disable them by going to the app drawer > select the menu button > select "Manage apps" > Select "All" > Then you select the app you want to disable and the option to do so should be in the upper fight hand corner. You can also use an app like Titanium Backup or a file explorer that has root access.

There are probably others that people may consider bloatware, but this is a pretty decent list. Feel free to comment about any others you might see.

Was anybody smarter than myself and made a stock backup of the One S?

That's good to know as I too have deleted some of these; but my device is locked so that it will not up load any programs onto it. I really need to make sure that the sim is not locked as well and I don't have a clue how to do this.

I can't disable "MobileLife Contacts", the option is greyed out. Is there anyway to disable it?

The only way to get rid of this is use a cook ROM right?

I just went thru the list manually.

I cant wait to get rid of all this bloatware.

If you're rooted, you can delete them yourself.
