Hi all.

can I ask a quick question.

when I'm using my desire there's many different situations when I enter text. I nearly always use the T9 way of entering text on the numerical pad layout.

Is there any way to tell the phone to use this method exclusively, to set it as default? it flips randomly between T9 and the old one.

I have no use for any other way.

Can anyone help?

What I am really after is to force the input method to stay with T9 dictionary all the time.

Sometimes, like when you use the market, the phone will switch back to ABC way of inputting text.

I am wondering if this can be overridden and for the phone to remain on T9 all the time?
