My wife wants to get a tablet. She really wants a Ipad. Why you ask?? Because they are cool. She has an android phone (Samsung S2). I figure I can talk her into an android tablet. I can get a Tab 10.1 for $330 new or refurbed for $225. I can get a new note 10.1 for $450. These are all from Bestbuy. I'm just wondering the pros and cons of each. I know the S-pen comes with the note. I'm not really sure how much my wife will use it. I really think this will just end up being a game for her. Sure she will use it as an organizer, but probably not much more. This will be used wifi only.
I know the note has 2 gb ram as opposed to the 1 gb ram for the Tab, but how much bigger is the operating software for the note??
How much faster is the note going to be?
I know that Samsung says you can use up to a 32 gb micro sd card in both, but can you use a 64gb card in each of them?
What do people think about refurbs??
