tab 2 as a remote

I came across this while surfing has any1 done this ifso how?

well the way I read it it implies there's an ir out on the tab like a normal remote?? Obviously I know there's the network remote on play store/ sammy apps themselves( no smart Remote tho on sammy apps)..

On my 7", there's an IR on the left side of tab. You can use it with the Peel app that comes delivered. I've never tried using it though. Someone also mentioned Touchsquid

hmm not noticed it on my 10.1 but cant see why they'd leave it off/?, this could be usefull to me as my sound systems remote is dodgey
