Help Tab 2 not starting after software update

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.0. Model GT-5110. I plugged in the tab yesterday to update the software, but it now it gets stuck at the start up. I left it like that all night and still nothing.And the entire time it was plugged to the charger, so I don't think its because of low battery. The Samsung blue logo just keeps flashing. I've tried the hard reset but nothing. Please please help.

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem and am getting super annoyed now. I've tried wiping the cache, factory reset and using odin to flash a stock rom and still no joy. Tablet was working fine prior to the bloody update! It's stuck in a continuous loop of restarting and flashing the samsung logo now.

MEGA annoying.

Here's hoping there's a solution.

Morning!

After a very frustrated late night googling and downloading various solutions, I've managed to fix my tablet on the 4th attempt. It's now back on and updated and working properly. Hooray!

Although I've completely lost all my data...but hey ho, compared to my tablet being completely unsalvageable this is a huge bonus
