Tablet apps

i understand what you mean, however, i have always assumed this on all apps i purchased that are local use apps and require a license to unlock the full features. i have an evo and the xoom and both have the same docs license. same thing i do for apps on home based desktops.

Tango is now supported by the XOOM although I wish there was a way to adjust the incoming video size.

Well it seems that Tango still doesn't between the xoom and the iPhone. They seem to have gotten the orientation of our camera wrong because my wife said I was upside down on her iPhone 4 screen. Was so hoping for this app on the Xoom.

Hi, i just wanted to inform that Tv Shows Stream app has been updated an now WORKS ON XOOM.
Since version 3.2 Motorola Xoom is fully supported . The videos can be played using flash player or even with native player in most of the videos.
Remember that there is a free lite version with 12 tv shows for testing purposes.

As long as developers dont hardcode screensizes, then most apps with just stretch (not the icons or graphics)

Now that I have my Xoom and have loaded all my old apps - I can say there appear to be 4 kinds of apps
- Optimized for the tablet
- Stretch on the tablet to use full screen, but basically blown up versions of the phone app
- Apps that dont resize but will run - these look bad
- Apps that wont run

I'm sure there are variations on these too. But anyway - my main comment is even apps that blow up full size but are not optimized for the tablet - look bad really. Apps like the CNN or USA today apps that are truly optimized are wonderful to use. Blown up apps - while they work great - just are not that attractive.

2 cents...

Some of the blown up apps are fine, though. It depends on the app, IME. While I've been having separate issues with the Pogoplug app (docs I download seem to disappear, anyone else have this problem?) it's just a blown up version of the phone app and really functions fine GUI-wise, and doesn't look bad. Or some of the games I have, same way. Some *do* look bad, but plenty don't.
