Tablet Choices?

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking for a little bit. I'm hoping you all can help me. Here is what I'm looking for:

8~10 inch capacitive touch (hopefully multi-touch)
1024x600
1 GHz processor
512 MB ram
4Gig storage (expandable)
Bluetooth
GPS (not a must if it has Bluetooth)
WiFi

all for $175~$300

Am I asking for too much?

Thanks

Tony

I would recommend the Notion Ink Adam for you Notion Ink Adam: Tech Specs

It has everything you asked for, and than some...

It has the 10.1 inch capactive screen
Nvidia Tegra 2 processor( I belive i 1Ghz)
1 GB ram
8 GB storage (and expandable)
Bluetooth
GPS
and wifi(also has a 3g model)

Definitely your best bet.

Prices start at $379.

I kinda wish I would've waited for this, instead of getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab. However, Maybe I will wait until later this year.

If you have experience with rooting your phone, the next best option is the Viewsonic G-Tablet.

(however the Adam totally made my mouth water)

You can try to get the G-tab for $279 from the sears outlet when it's available but it's hit or miss. If you can get one for that price, you are one of the lucky ones.

If you really do not want to go over $300, then you will have to cut back on some of your expectations.

Archos 101 is under $300 but I don't think it has 512mb of RAM.
