Root Tablet constantly cuts off

Every time I set my tablet down or hit the button to turn the screen off I have to completely turn it back on. It wont just go to sleep. Anyone got any suggestions?

Btw, I am running CM7 on it

I just noticed the same thing yesterday. I set it down twice and had to wait for it to boot up both times. I am using SetCPU to overclock so I backed off that for a while and it didn't happen again last night. Will check again today when I get home.

Also running CM7.

Menu -> settings -> wireless & networks -> Wi-Fi settings -> menu button -> advanced -> Wi-Fi sleep policy -> never

This fixed it for me EXCEPT when plugged in. Still haven't found a solution for that, but I just turn it off before charging now.

I'm not sure which version of CM7 (nightly or stable) you guys are using but you might want to update your kernel to the new version of pershoots GB kernel.

Setting the wifi policy to never sleep might work too but it might be a good a idea to update the kernel. The kernel on CM 7.0.3 is outdated and pershoot has put in some fixes.

I'm using CM, 7.1.0-RCO-smb and the Kernal is 2.6.32.9-clemsyn #6

Also does anyone have skype working on their CM?

I updated to the latest CM7 and Peershot kernel and haven't seen it happen again. Thanks! It's tough keeping up with the updates to CM7. Not complaining at all. Wish my DroidX had updates as often as this tab does.
