tablet shared plan

I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0
To my existing smartphone plan with bell i added the share feature for an extre 10 $ per month.
I inserted the simcard into my tablet.
Everything works.
But i can make and receive phone calls from my tablet.

My question is:
As i know my plan does not have voice on the tablet sim
So what is happening if i will keep making phone calls from my tablet?
I will be charged by Bell?

Thanks

I have the 3g/4g tablet.
I bought it from ebay
The tablet has the phone app
I think my tablet has some settings that alow to access the voice network.

Is it using the cell phone number to receive calls? If so, I would say it will use the phone's data plan and/or the voice plan. I'm not 100% about it though.

My tablet is wifi only but I have setup google voice with talkatone to make/receive calls using google voice phone number.

The best way to find out is call your provider and ask.

It is using the cell phone number. Is about the APN settings. I do not want to call my provider because they will "fix" my problem. I do not wanted fixed. I want just to know wjy this is happening.

I called Bell Canada using my tablet.
They checked my plan.
They said I do not have voice attached to my tablet.
And I am using my data.
I turned off my mobile data and remained on wifi
I was able to make phone calls.

Can please somebody tell me how i am able to make and receive phone calls?
The app i am using is the stock phone app.
Android version 4.0.3

Thanks

If it was a used tablet from ebay, maybe the previous owner had it setup to make calls using google voice or something similar.

Look around in the apps drawer for Google Voice and GrooveIP, Talktone or similar apps. But then again, if it is using your cell phone number to make/receive calls, I don't have an answer.

If it was brand new, I'm not certain why it came out the box available to make calls.

My tablet was brand new. It has all the features of a phone....
It is accessing the voice channel of the wireless carrier - Bell Canada in my case
And it is working because Bell gave me a Sim card that is not locked on voice.
But if I use the service I have to pay 40 cents per minute.

Luckily I used only 10 min of it....

My question is answered.....

Thanks for the reply
