Hi, I am a student at San Jose State University and I’m doing a project about tablet user experience for owners of devices like iPads, Xoom, etc. Can you please help me by filling out a survey about tablet usage. The project is a semester long project for a management honors class. The project teaches project management. Our topic is to figure out how people are using there tablet since it is new product and is it going to replace anything or is it a complimentary item why did they choose the tablet they own.

Ohhh, the project teaches project management... You're definitely legit, I take back my previous statements..

I am a college senior and doing a project on the tablet user experience of devices such as iPad, Xoom, NOOK Color, Galaxy tab, etc. I thought this would be a good place to gather info on tablet useage. My research has led me to think tablets are changing the way people browse the internet and use other devices. I
 
I'm curious as to what your data says is different about the way people surf the web. I have a theory, that they surf it the exact same way, but with a tablet.
 
Because tablets are portable, where as laptops are transportable, internet browsing has become more convenient and interactive. During the interview phase of the project some people said they browse the internet during activities, such as watching a movie and looking at IMDB to get actor info, that they would not have done before. The internet and the devices become a more intricate part of their lives. This survey does not go into that level of detail but informs me on how they use the device so I can see if this theory is true.
