Tablet without GPS and apps

Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere (I have looked!) and if this is a stupid question.

I have recently got an Ainol Novo Hero10 tablet that does not have gps. I didn't think this would be an issue, as I had no need to use it for gps functions.

However, I now have a number of apps that apparently won't work without a gps bit. Some I understand e.g. Google Sky, Goggles, compass etc. but there are some that make little sense to me e.g. Nat West.

Is there a way around this or am I stuck not having apps because of a weird gps requirement?

nothing i can think of... other than purchase a gps bluetooth device to share sat locations to the tablet.

maybe you can try to find such an app to share gps sat location from your phone....

Some free apps want GPS for better targeting their advertising banners.
So the paid version of such an app might be without needing GPS.
