Help Tablet won't come on

I have had my tab 2 10.1 for almost a year now with almost no issues and now it will not come on. Any suggestions. I've plugged it into the charger for over 6 hours now and still no response

Check the charger. (Use it to charge another tab or phone and make sure it works.) Then, using a known-good charger (yours if it works, or some other one if it doesn't), leave the yab plugged in for at least 24 hours see if that works.
