Tablets from China?

I've seen a lot of these on ebay and while the specs seem pretty solid i was wondering if anyone has personally, or knows someone that has bought one of these tablets? Can they be updated as well, and can they download applications from android market?

Yes I have one and Im so pleased with it. Yes i can download from Android Market. and I have already had one firmware upgrade so yes to that as well. Hope this helps....Colin

Yes, there are many chinese tablet around. These tablets has a general funny name, iPad clone. Ironically, some tablet PC in Australia and EU just rebranded these chinese tablet.
Some tablets do have solid quality. You'd better pick up the right one from the right seller.
As I know, a chinese store has pretty good tablets. My friends and me all got from there.

The UI is a little laggy at times but it's a decent tablet. It's variant the "ePad" is kinda sucky compared to the aPad

The update I received was a firmware update not a operating system update so Im also still on 2.1

Buying from China is ok if you are prepared to wait (especially if customs decides to inspect the shipment) or if the pad arrives broken. Then the hassle starts because the Chinese want to haggle over every aspect of the return, including who is going to pay the fourty bucks shipping back to China.
