You should always unroot before taking your phone in. Whether or not they'll actually check depends on what exactly you need fixed. Personally, I'd rather be safe than sorry. All you need to do is back up everything with titanium backup, or make a nandroid backup (unless you think you won't get the same phone back), then follow these steps:
