Taker Killer Exclusions?

what kind of apps do you have to exclude in a task killer app..im curuous cause i excluded alot of things

like messaging does that have to be excluded or will i get my texts either way

apps that have widgets do they have to be excluded since there technically running all the time?

and so on

I manually kill tasks only when my phone goes stupid. So I don't bother with exclusion lists....

As for not receiving them - I used t kill Messaging all the time and still got my SMS....

This is my list:
Messaging
Advanced Task Killer
Voice Dialer
Alarm
Handcent
Settings
Email
Google Voice
Gmail

You dont really need a task killer though. As a matter of fact, I try to only use it once a day, at the end of the day.

I have deleted the stock Messenger app altogether, because I use Handcent. Still get texts.

My Ignore List consists of: SetCPU, Startup Auditor, and Handcent SMS.

I would like to note that I only use ATK momentarily. Meaning, I open ATK, I kill the tasks (including itself), and that's it. I leave Sweeter Home unchecked so it ignores it each time I kill everything else. Though I don't put SH in the Ignore List because there have been times when I want to kill it just to refresh it ... make sense? It's UNchecked status is remembered by ATK, even after a reboot.
