Taking Screen shots

Is it possible on non-rooted phone without installing an app? If not, any suggestions on a working app that's actually dependable?
 
Or power/lock + volume down. The screenshots get saved in a separate "screenshots" folder.

One is HTC's method, the other is ICS...so we have both.

I personally use power + volume down cause it's easier for me, separated folder and cooler animation lol
 
pretty long. still nothing. the power + home is almost instant, you hit the buttons and the screen flashes with a message telling you where the file is saved.


no such luck with the down arrow >_<
 
Power + vol. down doesn't work but vol down + power works :D

just press them both at the same time it will work, It has worked for me on stock rom, Mobsters roms, ZR3DX and meanrom

ZR3DX, I guess is more or less you have to press them both at the exact same time. I just tried the power + Home, I didn't know about that one but i like the power + volume down better because of the separate folder for screen shots.
with power + vol. down the timing has to be almost perfect, the other way you can be kind of slow.
 
Both ways work fine for me with stock and ZR3DX. Power/volume down is ICS while power/home is HTC Sense.
