Root Taking Screenshots

My ability to take Screenshots using the power & home buttons seems to have disappeared after root. Is there another way, or do I have to install an app to do it? Also, I already see that you can hold down the power button, and get it along with a list of options, but I'd rather have a one-method.

Then that is something that should be posted in the Midnight senseless rom thread to see what the dev or other users of that rom say. Being a rom that removed all the sense based files, etc. I would venture to say it got borked or removed in the process. But you'd have to confirm that with the dev or other users that use it in that thread. D

That is why I posted here in the root section.
I figured:
(a) Devs browse more than their own thread.
(b) Someone else may have had the same problem.

Thanks though. I will try it.

I can't guarantee that any of them will work since I don't use the ROM you've installed, but there are three ways to change the buildprop setting that controls the native screenshot function:

1. Manual edit of the buildprop file. You want the value to be "true".
2. Make the same change using a buildprop editor like the one in ROM Toolbox.
3. Try this app with is supposed to toggle the buildprop setting.

Some ROM's and kernels have the native screenshot disabled because it interferes with the sweep to wake (S2W) feature, which can simulate a Power+Home sequence and take a screenshot accidentally. Depending on how it was disabled in the ROM/Kernel the buildprop setting may longer function, so if you try one of the alternatives above and it doesn't work, then follow the advice to post in the ROM thread.

I already have posted there.
I just wasn't sure if it was something that was removed, I did by accident, or what.
