Help Taking so long to email videos

Hello,
I have my hotmail account set up on my s4 and it took 3 minutes to send a video file to my other email account, the size of the video file was 16MB. Is there some setting that is limiting the speed? My internet connection is 15.83 mbps / 1.68mbps.

Are you sure you are able to send a file that large? Typically, most email gateways will not accept attachments larger than 10MB.

Have you tested other ways of transmitting the files such as uploading to Dropbox to see whether the same thing happens?

Most Web based emails can mor send that size of video. I've tried it in the past. You will need to shrink the video size get app on playstore.
