When I take a video it looks kind of grainy I have it on the best hd settings the high resolution and on long mail

Are you rooted? What ROM are you using? I've had issues on certain ROMs with video and pictures.

Have you checked the video quality on a computer? It may not look the prettiest on your phone/while you're recording, but on the computer it looks like the full 1080p.

If that's not the case, have you done any changes to your software? I.E: installing a custom ROM.
