Help tampa area speed test

anybody in the tampa area experiencing slow speeds compared to others in the country.
i average about 10-12Mbps down and 1-1.5 mbps up
have been reading test of 20+Mbps down in other parts of the us.

Thats about what I'm getting in south Hillsborough, Ruskin area and North Manatee County.

Wonder why its slower here than the rest of the country
