Tapatalk issue

First off, I've searched the site, the existing threads do not help my case.

On my LG Motion, I can access a specific forum via wifi, but if I try to connect to the forum while on 4g or 3g I get this error message

I access other forums via Tapatalk on 4g or 3g perfectly fine, its just the one specific forum. I must state that I am infact logged in, and I have sufficient permission on that forum as I am a mod there.

Now I recently switched from a different phone with a different carrier. I used Tapatalk with that phone with no problems on any data channel. This has been driving me crazy for a few months now.

So far I've tried updating Tapatalk, clearing cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, factory reset. everything to no avail. Nothing on Google search seems to indicate that anyone else is having this problem...

EDIT: Mods, I meant to put this is the general LG Motion sub, not ATR.
 
When you say its one particular forum, which forum is it? You state you're a Moderator there so it's not Android Forums?

Which would indicate that this is a general Tapatalk application issue on your phone? Perhaps its an Android Apps subforum thread?

He's a moderator for a different website and this forum doesn't load at all ;)
 
I am using the phandroid app and I get "error" when I try to access certain areas of this forum based on wifi or 3g. I wonder if these issues are related?

I dunno.

This says to me that the one specific forum gives the permissions error, but he knows he should have access, because he is a mod there.

Exactly, that's my point :)

It seems:

  1. He is having a problem on a forum where he is a moderator
  2. He is not a Moderator on android Forums
  3. He therefore is not having a problem with Android Forums

I didn't want to post the site and be accused of spam, but to make things easier to understand, the forum I am having trouble with is doomship.com. I brought up the fact I am a moderator there to avoid the sufficient permission questions that would arise. I have no trouble using the browser app or Chrome on my device, just Tapatalk. I also do not have any trouble at all accessing Android Forums. ....and I am not a moderator here. Sorry for the confusion.

EDIT: Maybe I'm using the term "forums" incorrectly.
