Root Tapatalk Question

I was reading about Tapatalk in the "Site News" section and decided to download it. It looks like a great little reader. Since I scan this forum daily I wanted to have it on my phone. For some reason with my Ipad I cannot post reply's to the android forum. I have a few questions to anyone who uses tapatalk regularly.

1. How do you place a forum on your favorite list? I want to go straight to this forum instead of searching through all the phone types.

2. Does it eat the battery when you are not using the app? If so is there a way to mitigate that?

3. I'm embarrassed to say this but how do you post using tapatalk ? (I haven't figured that out yet.)

Sorry if I sound technologically impaired, but I am. Thanks to all who generously give their time to answer stupid questions from people like me. :)

1.To add to favorites(working on that) however when you go to the one forum that you like..simply long press on the title of the forum and subscribe.

2. Battery wise I have not really noticed a difference(but then again I use fastboot to close out apps if I have 7 or more running at a time.

3. Post is :while in the forum you want to post a new topic hit menu/start /new topic.
Or while reading post in a specific thread hit menu/start new reply.
