Target to offer Optimus V for $129 plus $20 gift card

Hi, I bought a lg rumor touch from BB like a little over a month ago, I still have the original packaging, and the phone is in descent shape. I was wanting the intercept for a long time, even before I got the rumor touch, but couldnt afford it at the time. Now that the Optimus V has been released and is such a good deal at target. I want the optimus.

I called my local target today and told them I had bought a lg rumor touch, and now I see that the optimus v is a good price, can I come in and exchange my rumor for a optimus, the guy in electronics said it really depends on the customer service counter person working when you come in, some are more lenient then others. I told the guy if he understood I didnt want to drive 30 minutes just to be told sorry. I know I bought it from BB, but you guys think I could probably get away with returning my rumor touch for store credit, and getting an optimus v, and just pay the difference? I think my chances are pretty much 50/50.
 
ok, you bougt a LG Rumor at BEST BUY, and you want to return it to Target for trade on an Optimus?

That's not gonna work. Because the way the phones are registered thru Point Of Sale. When they scan the activation (basically the ESN), their system is going to know it wasn't bought there. Doesn't really matter who's working the customer service desk, it will simply fail.

Doesn't you local BestBuy have any of the Optimus V's left?

I got the LAST one in Middle TN today. Seven stores within a 50 mile radius were out. I lucked out calling store to store. Thankfully, one store held me one.

Used the $20 gift card to purchase a top up card.

I got about $7.00 off my purchase using my TARGET CARD.

Best Buy, Target, Radio Shack and Virgin Mobile are all out of stock for online ordering. Amazon has a few, but they are all $180 and up. eBay sellers are usually getting a premium as well. The best bet is a local Radio Shack store...and some Best Buy, Target and Walmart stores have them. Tough to find right now.
 
i been trying to get another optimus at target for like a week now and every time they have one, they sell it before i get there. those ****ers...and they can't hold one for me

I gave up selling anything on ebay,between hidden ebay charges and trying to figure out shipping costs it is always a losing proposition, i prefer Craigslist it's free and you find buyers within your location no shipping worries.
 
They are also selling this phone at Meijer stores. The one near me has been in stock every time I've been there.

Dayton,oh. You don't get the killer deal, though. They are selling them for $149. I was just throwing that out there.
 
BESTBUY had them today, and they were honoring the Target ad.
They said they'd match the ad (which meant you got the phone for $109)!

Of course, I already had 1 target special.
