Task Killer & Battery life help

Hi guys

I downloaded advanced task killer, but I keep finding everytime I press it (even if I haven't done anything on the phone) theres 2/3 apps closing!

Do I need a task killer? Also what apps could be running?

I've turned off Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS etc to stop eatting at the battery. I changed Facebook updates to once a day. Is there anything else I can do?

I dont have task killer installed, apparently android does task killing itself or so i read on here somewhere

Android doesnt, but there are a lot of badly written apps that wont sleep or close and kill the battery.

If you do use one, you MUST whitelist ALL core apps. Otherwise you may end up in a boot loop you cant stop.
