New to the X, tasker, and these forums, but I found a way to do the following:
1) Eliminate the need to enter Corporate Pin Requirement (or slide lock/unlock)
2) Keeps phone awake regardless of Security Requirement (>15 min max implemented by employer)
Its hoaky for sure, but apparently turning the screen on counts as input to reset the security timer.
Context - Event/Display/Display Off
Task - Tasker/Wait - 4 Seconds (max time before the screen lock kicks in)
Task - Display/Turn On - If %Screen ~ off
Probably a battery killer, but well worth it for me (avoiding the screen lock and the pin).
Regardless of timeout for the screen or the security, this tasker profile will wake it. To go back to normal, I just disable the profile/hit my custom widget.
Anyone know of any other "mock" user input that would reset the security timer within Tasker's abilities? I tried the password plugin with locale and I failed miserably.
