Help tasker: how do you turn off notificaton light setting

Are you talking about the notification LED? You can just turn it off in the display settings...
what he said...now if you want to turn it off except for a few apps (email, messaging ect) that may be a different story and i can try digging through tasker today.

I want tasker to do this though. I want it to turn off the notification light at certain times of the day like when I am asleep. I know you can do it in the settings, but I want tasker to do it for me

how about light flow.
use different colors for all your notifications, different blink rates, how long you want the blinking to continue before turning off, AND hAS "NIGHT TIME HOURS" where it wont blink
i dug through tasker and i only found where i can turn ON the LED...there wasn't an option to turn it off during certain howers from what i could tell.

Lightflow is a fantastic app on the nexus.

I use light flow, but the hours are not enough. I want specific days.

I'm going to try this on my wife's DX tonight. Since I moved her phone to cyanogen mod months ago LED Hack didn't work anymore. I never thought to see if tasker could handle that on it's own.

I leave my phone downstairs at night so it isn't a big deal to play with any night time settings. Her's is on her nightstand and it still lights up the ceiling when it's face down. :o

Thanks

The option in Tasker is under Audio > Notification pulse.

Thanks! It works. Finally the notification light will be shut off on the days i work/sleep and not just every day. Since I try to get up early on my days off It's rather annoying when its not working when I actually do get up on a day off. I work 3rd shift.

Well my wife's phone didn't pulse last night, but there was a notification on (and not pulsing) the whole night. I guess I'll have to look for another tasker action to clear it.

I've had the triggers rigged fine. It just turned pulsing off when there was a notification tt was stuck in an on state with no flashing.

Does it work now? I've noticed if you have a time set to exit at 630.. it doesnt actually exit till 631. I always forget this when I make a task and then test it right away

The way I setup this is to have 5 profiles. The main profile is disabled by default. That is the profile that lowers volume, turns off vibration, and is supposed to kill the LEDs. It is triggered by being placed in the home dock.

The other 4 are time based.

The first 2 for weekday and weekend night start times. The night start time profiles enable the main profile when the designated time hits (10pm for sunday -thursday, 11 for friday and saturday). They do nothing on "exit" tasks. So they enable the main profile, but that profile doesn't do anything unless it's docked.

The last 2 for weekday and weekend morning end times. These two disable the main profile. Which trigger's the main profiles exit.

The setup works fine except the LEDs being shut down which used to work with LEDs Hack before I switched over to CyanogenMod.
