the tax on the droid REALLY hurt. i live in california and the tax came out to about $55. how much did you guys have to pay?

Yeah, I think mine was similar here in CA, 9%xfull retail price= ~$50
Sucks we gotta pay that much tax..

CA's 9.25% tax is KILLER... Goodness gracious and it's still not enough... so our state has to release roughly 31,000 inmates onto the streets by 2011... Ugh... I'm going to get jacked/killed if I show off my Droid in two years.

I bought mine online from wirefly for $150 with free shipping and no tax.

$34 tax on the phone and the car cradle. Grand total was $364 out the door. I thought it was kind of high at the time, but I had other priorities than investigating at that point.

Yup around $55 here in SoCal, and free overnight shipping which will be here on Monday .......Oh well, Sucks they always tax the Full retail price of the phone, and not what it actually sells for.

my tax was $47, and 2 day shipping from ontario which is 5 miles from me. maybe ill get it tomorrow.
