Help TB Stuck in Landscape Mode in Browser, SMS, User Menu's ETC

Suddenly phone will not come out of landscape mode unless I uncheck the auto rotate option. Restarted, fixed it until I rotated phone again. Stuck again. Calibrated the g sensor.
Did a battery pull, same problem again. Called Verizon store, they want me to go there and factory reset the phone and add each app one by one AGAIN. Phone had been working fine since yesterday when I got it. Any ideas??

BTW: I has the HTC Incredible for the 15 months, this phone is nice and much faster browsing, grabbing apps etc. But unless you want the larger screen size like I did (eye sight). I don't see a big reason for trading up until the price really comes down. Takes forever to boot and the power button is terrible.

Still a fan but spoiled by the Incredible. That said If you did not own the Incredible then make then buy this phone.

If you do a factory reset and you let google back up your stuff it wont take long to get all your apps back

I was holding the on a flat surface in portrait mode so the bottom (kick stand end of the phone was level. As you would look at a level. Apparently you must lay the phone flat on it's back when calibrating. It would have been nice if they were specific.

That seems odd to me but OK. Lets see what happens. The problem I believe started before I adjusted the g sensor.

Recalibrating the G-sensor
Recalibrate the screen if you feel that the screen orientation does not respond properly to the way you hold the phone.
Press HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings.
Tap Display > G-Sensor calibration.
Place the phone on a flat and level surface, and then tap Calibrate.
After the recalibration process, tap OK.

I hate to say it, but the factory reset option is the only way to absolutely tell which app it is. Unless you want to attack the problem with random solutions...that will probably get you an answer, just not time soon.

If it is not an app, the G sensor calibration is a good thing to try (as was said). Also, does this happen with non-stock browsers? That would rule out g-sensor problems.

Also, and this is nitpicky, but unless you are phone tester, you have not owned the DINC for 15 months. :)
