Help TB will not keep "Automatic Brightness" please help

My phone resets the brightness everyday to the max level thus draining by battery a lot quicker than it would if it were lower or set to Automatic brightness (AB). When I notice it, I go in and check the box for AB and all is well for a while, then for some unknown reason reverts to max brightness. Any clue how to remedy this?

I've had it happen a couple times since the last update. Not consistantly, and not after doing anything in particular that I know of. Maybe I have an app that automatically is setting it high and not reverting or something, but I don't know off hand which would be, and I haven't really paid attention. It's only happened a handful of times for me though, and half of those, I couldn't swear that it did it itself, and not me doing it in the daylight. Definately keeping an eye out for possible reasons now though.

i dont like auto brightness. it doesnt lower the brightness down all the way in the dark which would save battery

I've noticed it resets if your phone enters power saving mode. You have to manually turn it back on even when fully charged. I also agree it doesn't go dark enough on auto, could use the battery savings.

Come to think of it, that's probably why mine was reverting. I remembered turning back my timeout settings after power-saving, but it didn't click that it might affect my brightness setting too lol. Funny thing, is that it always set it to max brightness after coming back from power save.
