Root Team DRH ICS Beta 4.0

Ahhhh Ok.... thanks xmr. I'm at work now so and just saw the ROM file that I missed. Yeah I just did the gapps and didn't notice that I had to do the ROM also. I'm downloading now and will give it a try. Thanks a bunch! I'll let you know how it goes.

Worked great! However, after I got the gtab running the rom, I downloaded the AnyConnect ICS app from the market and established a vpn connection with my work. I was hitting a web application and my tablet totally froze, couldn't reboot, couldn't turn it off, was totally frozen. Had to pop the case apart to get to the internal reset button. Tried again and it rebooted itself a couple of times, then totally froze up again. Ended up draining the battery before I had time to pop the case open again but once I had a charge going, came up ok. Don't know why the vpn app is killing it.

Quick question,
I have lost track of what I have installed right now and what the latest version of this ICS ROM is.
Looks like I have ICS-Preview-2A installed.

To update to the latest version, is it necessary to completely wipe or can I just wipe data and dalvik then flash the new ROM (Beta, right?)

If you still have the Preview ROM installed, I would follow the entire how to install process found in the link above.

When DRH went to full beta, they required that you have a 250M system partition. If you don't know, then there's a NVflash file you have to flash.

Don't forget to back up all the data you have in your internal memory if you still need to repartition your internal SD card or else you'll lose everything.

Cool, that should be straight forward. I don't need anything thats on there except the apps. If I back them up with Titanium backup, then transfer that backup directory to my PC I should be able to restore everything once I have TB installed on the tablet with the new ROM, right?

I wouldn't. When a Dev instructs to do a full wipe, I normally do not restore apps and data with TB. But that's based on my experience.

I never do data, just the app itself. I always thought that was acceptable and actually the point of using TB ?

Yeah that's what TB is for but I'm saying I don't use it when I do a clean install of a ROM. You can totally do it if you prefer. Like I said that's just me.

i see that they released another update for ics, how do i go about updating it and where do i find the download ? thanks
