Fixing more derps... I'm praying cam works... I got it to say "cannot connect to camera" at least so sort of a win I guess.. there were missing camera parameters that prevented the lib from opening... gonna be about 45mins to an hour for another full rebuild :\
 
B13 libs just lock the phone now with no boot... The camera related libs I mean... Trying out the ICS libs whenever this download finishes... Hopefully I found the right one... B09 right?

Yes, B09 is the newest ICS.

Driving me freaking crazy... Immediately after having all of the libs in order... No matter if ICS or JB blobs... The phone locks... I have issues else where to worry about it seems... Nothing wrong with the libs... Wonder if its the display hal that's screwy

thanks guys... So last night I managed to capture some log ouput on the camera freeze... it's hard to do because the freeze screws up everything... after repeatedly messing around and trying to capture some logging info from the kernel I managed to squeeze this out:

I got it down to a science... gotta have the log open and open the cam when everything is pretty much idle... if you open cam when there are other events getting thrown into the log it'll just freeze up with no clue as to why -___-

Edit: So apparently I'm a noob... I tried pulling the last_kmsg but didn't find any error anywhere... Didn't realize I had to let the phone reboot itself for it to be useful... I kept manually pulling the battery... Now that I realize this I managed to get the full error :/... I learned something new today apparently
 
Boom again lol. Got visual voicemail working-ish. I will upload a flashable zip once it is finished. It would be a semi-complicated install without it.

I think the only problem now is that cm11 does not seem to be able to play AMR files, which is the format the voicemail is downloaded in. Anything you can do about that jetx2x?

edit: I take that back...apparently you can play *.amr files just fine when they are on your sdcard, just not when they are in /data/data which is where they need to play from.

Glad ur cool. I always mess with my brother for being a Star Trek guy, I like it too but he is crazy into it. I'm just used to joking with him and forget it doesn't sound like I'm joking when typing. My bad
 
Front facing cam is upside down... I'll fix that tomorrow... And the stock camera doesn't work... Cm added some extra stuff to it that broke it for us... I'll have it fixed tomorrow too... No upload just yet
 
Whew! finnally! Fina become a daily driver soon.. however im upset because i can't get a working vpn to work..i'm in high school (11th Grade) and students here managed to get the password to the wifi however i cant get a vpn to work! so frustrating.. i had the hotspot shield app and it used to connect on 4.1.2 but on 4.4.2 i can't get no vpn's to work i tryed like 10 different apps..any suggestions?

You'd need to give me more information... And possibly a logcat... I've never messed with vpns

And I'm 18 btw lol

Also... FFC is still upside down... I'll have to look into it more later
 
ha yeah i'm 17.. but look ima sound like a noob but i really don't know what logcats are.. can i get a little brief explanation on what they are what they do and where to get them etc etc?

Here is how to logcat using the included terminal emulator. Open it, and type:
Code: 
su
logcat > /sdcard/logcat.txt
Then upload logcat.txt from your sdcard. You can name it whatever you would like in the command.
