Help tells me where number is calling from

i only just noticed that my phone shows which area the number calling is from , like had one call yesterday from manchester .

where are the options to turn this off .

I love this setting personally. Can't believe you'd want to turn it off...

I'm sure there used to be a setting for this, but i can't find it now.

Ive never noticed it and ive had calls from 0141 (glasgow)
How do i turn it ON?
Im guessing its in the dialer app but i use go contacts/dialer........ seems to use the stock thing once i make/recieve a call though....

As I said, I cant find a setting. I thought it was on by default. Have you called your phone from a landline and checked?


On the incoming call screen, it looks like this at the top of the screen:

Ill try when im at a landline mate. Maybe just havent noticed it. its rare that i get calls from random numbers.

Wonder how many prank calls that random number will get lol...... clairs used most of my minutes grr, i hate voice calls anyway... its nearly a phobia!
