Hi guys,

Just bought this phone on a $59 plan, previously I owned a Desire HD which was unbranded... anyway this is killing me, on my old phone i could just uninstall apps whenever I chose.

This thing is loaded up with a whole heap of crap from my phone vendor which i want to delete (Maaassssive amount)

Anyway so first of all i tried to install a stock rom, as in an unbranded one, except after going through the process I realised that the one i was downloading still said (Telstra) on it and i became worried i was just reinstalling the Telstra one...

ANyway so i rooted the phone in the hope that I would be able to uninstall them with root access... But still, in applications, there's no uninstallation option. I cannot uninstall anything!

I have read that some of the rooted file explorers can uninstall things but I don't want to just uninstall portions, i want to uninstall the entire app, using an uninstall process, not just deleting.

Is this possible on a sgs2? This thing is killing me!

One other quick thing, does this phone come pre installed with any games? Cannot find any! Also how do I look at recent apps? On my old android you just dragged the top bar down.

how did you install the stock rom?
Did you do a full wipe before installing the stock rom?
where did you get the stock rom from?

to get your recent apps, long press the HOME key

Well I didnt Install it, only used a rom downloader, downloaded a rom, which.had my carriers name next to it, and then used odin but changed my mind when the rom looked to still be branded cos it had my carriers name net to it... Whereas in the tutorial it looked to.be generic.

Also, do sgs2 come pre installes with.any.games? Mine hasnt, think carrier.deletes them? Xheers for the info on the recent button
