Help Telus D/L Speeds

Fellow Telus customers, what kind of download speeds do you get on your Milestone? Reason I ask is I believe mine are weak, but I do live in a valley in bumf#$k nowhere Alberta. I'm also having a wifi issue with my phone and am trying to find if they could be one in the same. I have no idea and I'm not technical savy, so if you find my ignorance humorous, thats ok.

Network speed is 3000-3500 kbps and wifi is 30ish kbps with max ping. /puke

My home internet is 5 Mbps, I thought my wifi should be somewhat close.

I have not tested other wifi spots yet, but the few others I have used, seemed a lot faster while not knowing exactly how fast they are.

Any help and input is greatly appreciated.

It will all depend on your carrier when it comes to download speeds over mobile internet. If you have a 3G phone does not mean you will get 3G speeds everywhere if your carrier does not provide coverage for that. IMO this is something you can do nothing about.

As for WiFi - provide more information about your router, its settings etc.
