Root Temple Run Battery Issues

Hey guys so I'm a big gamer so I downloaded Temple Run to play on my phone. It plays great with no lags or freezes. The only thing is that it always shows up on my battery status as using up 98% of my battery. I noticed this when I played it the night before then put my phone on airplane mode to save battery but when I woke up it went from 97% to 47%. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that'll help but it still did the same thing. I also wiped cache and dalvik cache and it still took up alot of my battery. I think this problem is similar to the Google maps battery glitch. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

What battery app are you using to report these statistics to you? Maybe there is a weird issue between the two apps. Does any other battery app report the same?

I haven't had any of these issues with Temple Run at all - strange.

All that means is that is what is using whatever percent of 100% of your battery. Unless your battery is draining like crazy I wouldn't worry about it too much.

the battery counter only counts the apps battery usage aggregrated over the time it is actually RUNNING. not while its just sitting there.

so yes, its a 3D game, so its using the cpu at max, and the GPU to render, probably a lot of ram.

yeah, I can see why, that while it is running, it would be using a majority of battery compared to other apps.

as long as you press the back button and get out of it when your done playing, youll have no problem.

even if you press home mid-game, its not like the GPU is still rendering the scene while your in another app, so you arent using battery that way either.

I think you are WAY overthinking it. just use the phone as normal
