Temporarily changing network oerator

I have an (unlocked)SGS2 in the UK on Vodaphone and I am going to Florida for a couple of weeks. I have bought an AT&T sim off Ebay. IS there anything I need to do to be able to access mobile broadband in Florida?

(I have bought into the plan for $2 per day calls/texts and also paid $25 for 500Mb of data)

You will probably have to set up an access point name for att. But other than that it should bee good to go.
