Root Teppics gingerbread rom

I have installed a new ROM (teppics rooted stock gingerbread, made from official HTC release). I removed various .apk's and associated .odex files from /system/app before installing the rom.

I now wish to put some of them back because It wont add ANY widgets and under add new widget->settings->widgets it is empty so cant add wifi/data/gps widgets.

Question is, do i 'adb push' or 'adb install' to /system/app/?

Also if i shutdown the phone and turn it back on when i gets to the homescreen it always says 'loading...this may take several minutes, please wait' Is this normal?

Cheers in advance.

Do you have an unmodified copy of the ROM zip? The easiest way is probably just to reflash that.

You should flash without a wipe, but IIRC the installer on that ROM might force a wipe anyway so you should backup first. You could try taking a nandroid, then after flashing restore just the data partition (advanced restore). Should work.

I am currently downloading a full copy again (over 3G....:banghead:). Think i will keep a copy and edit one with the stuff I dont want like maps, facebook, news and stocks.
I will try flashing the full rom to see if it is me creating the problems by removing certain files. This rom does a wipe before installing.

I restored a my apps via titanium backup but some dont seem to work, eg opera mobile just closes with any error.

Android market doesnt work and it wont allow me to clear the apps data.

As for the 'loading...' it happens every time and takes about 10mins!

Downloaded a fresh copy and installed it, minus maps, gmail, twitter, facebook, htc facebook and other stuff.

Works fine, dont get the 'loadin...' thing every time a reboot now. Only issue is, the HTC data on/off widget doesnt work properly but all the others do and Permissions denied app doesnt work on this rom so all in all im back to my original haha

Thanks again for your help.
