Help Terminal Commands for LG Optimus M

Can someone navigate me to a link for terminal emulator commands for the droid? I have the free version installed. Was able to become root but certain commands like ifconfig does not work?

If you know any linux commands, you should be able to use them, since Android is based on linux. If you don't know any, then you can google search on linux commands and use them. I don't know any specific sites right off hand.

Anything in /system/bin should run. You may not be using the command correctly as ifconfig requires some extra parameters.
