Help Terminal

I'm new to using Terminal.
Currently using Velocity 1.2
I know about #su and the velocity commands
Can someone please give me a list of regular Terminal commands?

Says "adb" but most of the commands work the same from terminal, but adb is even more useful cuz it can work when your phone may not.

Most of those are common stuff among Linux.

In the end you should try a Linux distro and look up some terminal command Terrence/guide type of stuff.

Some common commands would be:

mv
cp
rm
ls
cat

List could go on and on.

You can usually bring the help menu for a command by adding --help to the end of it.

Ex type: cp --help

Hope this offers some small insight.

This also depends on what you consider common. Depends on what you are trying to do. Looking up the command names on google would be a good start too.
