Root terrible sound during calls after update

After "leaked" update I am getting terrible sound through phone durring calls. It sounds like a busted speaker. Anyone else have this problem? anyone know of a fix?

I am rooted.
 
I did not install the leaked 5.8.894. I am however using Kin3tx which is built off the 5.8.894 leaked upate. I am not having any speaker issues.
 
Sorry, we have two threads going :)
I didn't have any speaker issues prior to the update so Im going to try to unroot and restore to see if that fixes it...if not, I may install a ROM and be done with Verizon altogether!
 
Ok, I took the frattleing thing in to Ver. and made the tech listen to voice maile my wife left me and ask politly "please tell me what she is telling me not to forget". The tech laughed and said the speaker was busted and I'll get a new one tomorrow...I asked him "New"?, and he said absolutly since I had been a Ver. customer for years....I like that guy, I may send him a Christmas gift :)
