Terrorism: What's being done about it?!

Not enough. Terrorists need to be taught what terror truly is! Ensure that their grandchildren's, grandchildren's grandchildren think twice before they attempt any attack on anyone!

And the family unit needs equal or greater firepower to defend his family by taking down the ones killing the innocents right on front of him

Y'know @dan330 .. The more you speak, the more I get the impression that you are a "mindless extremist". That is not meant as name calling, it is meant to be descriptive. If the family next door has military background and WANTS a tank or 50mm cannons to protect themselves & family then so be it. That doesn't project that EVERY family needs or wants them, but those that DO want them shouldn't need to be pestered about it by ppl with nothing better to do.

Like @bjacks12 stated earlier: If you're against guns and don't want them, then don't.. But leave other ppl alone & don't infringe on THEIR rights Cuz you're so stuck on something. That's the "mindless" part, you don't even know know what your implying cuz you're making it sound like every domestic family wants an AK + a tank. Even YOU know it's not like that so Get real.

Personally, I don't own any guns... but I am ok with others that have them.
I don't agree that everyone should and can own guns... some are not mature enough or wise enough to know when is good and NOT good to use them.

I am against ... open carry of any guns!
I am against ...auto and semi-auto rifles

Aww snap.... @dan330 I was so close... I said chili cookoff in an Escalade. Now the Wing fest in Reno gets attacked by some idiot in a caravan. This crap has to stop. Maybe if everybody at the chicken smorgasbord was packing a burner this jerkoff could've had his brains sprayed all over the back seat before finding the kids at the Mac and Cheese booth. Made my point. No gun needed, just the intent and the means.

Leave the open carriers alone. They may one day save your life.. hell, if a bad guy sees a lot of armed people maybe he'll abort mission. Who knows?

Look at the attacks on the Reno Wing Festival and Nice France. Guns are very slowly becoming a less desirable choice of instrument when it comes to mass killings. I'm sure these meatheads will eventually shift their focus towards banning box trucks and minivans too.

Sure let's make some 3D printed cardboard Smart cars. Wait.... maybe not. Come on, you could kill a human being with a down pillow. Let's see how well mass abolishment of all materials from iron to saliva works out 10 years from now.

Exactly. That's pointing out the similar thinking & obvious r.e.t.a.r.dedness of banning the same tools you'd need to defend yourself against said terrorism. But ppl are still blindly trying to keep away our defenses
