I objectively resent you changing my words as I spoke from a stance of Science & Fact, not opinion. I gave my opinion in a parenthesis, as you know. I spoke of damage as in what @LV426 stated as far as normal reproduction is involved. That's the Science part. The fact part is that I have read some of the Qur'an and there are about 13 passages that are direct orders to kill on site, first excuse, & both. LGBT, Christians, any non Islamic belief, women, children, all of them. Fact: it is a MUSLIM/ISLAMIC thing. [emoji41] Thank you very much Sir, with all due respect.

A look at Mateen’s troubled life, based on interviews with officials and people who knew him, as well as documents, reveals that on at least a dozen occasions, beginning when he was in grade school, he gave clues in a public setting that he was capable of mayhem.

At age 14, he said he could shoot an AK-47 and mimicked an airplane flying into the World Trade Center. At 26, he bragged to courthouse co-workers of terrorist ties. Weeks ago, at 29, Mateen sought to buy heavy-duty body armor and bulk ammunition.

"Peaceful Refugees" my ass.. Has any of you actually READ any of the Qur'an? Your opinions of them being peaceful will change real quick like if you do. What about all their riots and stuff? That's not peaceful either. They've been slaughtering each other since the beginning of their recorded history and their documents prove it. Wake up. [emoji36]

Now I was of course forgetting that there's the possibility that you are in fact not using the biblical references to S&G here, and that you were quoting for the Quran itself, which has a different take on the reasons for the destruction of the city. I appologise for not considering this a possibility. If you are using an all together different source for your documented proof, I would be very interested to know which one.

I was only recommending the read as it says some abhorrent stuff & directives that prove that Islam is not peaceful, no more no less. I've read the Christian bible many times as I was born into a Catholic & Baptist family. I have many Christian based morals & ideals but I feel that while the Bible has much historical information, they were wrong about certain key points on a few important things.. All of Islam is a hostile belief system and we'll all be killed & enslaved if we allow the ridiculous level of tolerance we are expected to have. No hate involved @psionandy but you may be looking at an "abridged" version of the Bible as it's been edited any times just the 30+ yrs I've been alive. Some of the older versions may shock you but is nothing compared to that Qur'an. I've had the chance to read some archaic Bibles, so.. S & G was just an example of sexual miscreants causing a cataclysm due to the lifestyle.. I'm not trying to be politically correct at all here, it's way too late for that because we are suffering mass murders due to a required "tolerance". That's some BS, I'm being real.
 
Btw, the morality surrounding homosexually is irrelevant here. They are people. They love and are loved. I'm a deeply religious Christian and I would never believe that they deserve what happened in Orlando.

Agreed, my point in the beginning was that even they deserve to own guns & weapons of protection.. We all do, and to take away our rights to bear arms basically just leaves law abiding citizens defenseless when faced with danger
 
I believe .. hand guns and assault-rifles only add more danger to the general public at large.

worse are the semi and automatic assault-rifles
 
Assault rifles.. Yes, should be restricted to military & special licenses. Handguns? No, those are more acceptable for protection
 
Except for shooting s pellet gun at nothing in particular when I was about six years old, I have never fired a weapon or even held one in my hands. I believe that, especially since '09, everyone has a gun except me. I also believe that it's way too late to even try controlling the proliferation of weaponry in this country. I just hope that, just like in life, the good guys outnumber the bad... what else can I do?
 
It's a very good job that most of the mass shootings in America this year were done by immigrants..

... Oh wait they weren't.

But hey... It's easier to blame foreigners for the problem, than trying to tackle the real problem.

people that believe guns are NOT dangerous to the public..
and
people that believe that Global Warming is NOT happening.

because they seem to all believe who ever has the most money to use fool the public.
they don't see the huge pile of evidence.. and only listen to MONEY makers.
 
Global warming has nothing to do with this. And yes, it's happening cuz I remember MONTHS of 30-40° winter weather in FL each year. Now we seem to have about 3wks. That's it.
