Alright. will it hurt if I flash your recovery image the normal way to test it?

I would advise against that....you can, just to boot it, but pick up my old kernels and flash them over recovery (mmcblk0p16) and boot as if u were booting to recovery (key combo)

I went ahead and tried it and it goes to download mode when I try to go to recovery.

Oh btw, when I try to reboot bootloader it also goes into download mode.

Did you try flashing my recovery to mmcblk0p16 (recovery partition) yet? It may boot
