Tether a rooted phone

[creepa200]

I rooted my phone like 6 months ago and have yet to try to tether as I haven't had a need. I'll be taking a trip to FL in 2 weeks and not sure if WIFI will be on the Amtrak train. I'd like to possibly tether my laptop so I can use it on the long ride. Is there a simple way or any directions to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Got it using Foxfi. Damn is metro 4g so slow. Guess I'll load laptop with movies or something.
