Root Tether ANDROID 2 ANDROID?

Is is possible to tether from my 3g rooted samsung galaxy with wireless tether for root users to my nexus s 4g? I tried it but it wouldnt pick up the hotspot

Yes you can. If you do not have a package you can use FoxFi for free tethering even if not rooted.

Does the galaxy work with other devices? Some phones the tether for root does not work on without a custom kernel. Hence why I mentioned FoxFi it may work.
