Hi i just rooted my evo 4g so I can tether to my iPad aim useing
Barnacle and a tether app called wireless tether both r free in the market when I try to use barnacle it says FAILD TO SET AP-SCAN I don't know what that means aim sorry aim a lil on the stuped side n when I to use the wireless app it says aim sorry your phone is in a unknown states WTF dos that mean n how do u fix it some please help me fix this problem thx guys aim sorry aim a new guy here

Ok if you are rooted you are good to go. Go to app store and type root tether and you should see a app wifi tether for root dl it and you should be ablt to tether. I am using it and it also is good as a hot spot. Just in case easy tether for root is working also both are free apps.
