is anyone else having problems with tethering? my phone restarts after using tethering app (i tried multiple ones) if anyone can help id apreciate it

are you rooted? cause if you are and the stock tethering app is giving you problems then you could download a free tethering app for rooted users from the playstore its easy to work with and it works pretty well

If you try the stock made password that how I make my work or try what he say get app if you are root

well yes i am rooted and im using both wifi tether app from the play store and i even downloaded the barnacle app in the play store, and as soon as it tries to tether it reboots itself

hmm that is a weird problem could be a defect or something is interfering ill look into it and tell you if I find anything is it the Avid or another phone

Having the same issues here. Hotspot works ok, but doesn't always work on some websites I go to. None of the wifi tether apps work. I am rooted as well. I am using PDANet right now, which works fine, except on secure sights of course. That's always an option, hazeleyeys69

update,i just did as many of you suggested and it turns out that the only tether option that did work for me in the end(other than pda.net ) is the stock theter option ,thank you guys so much for helping out,as always dont forget to change the user agent in other to have all the websites working with tether :)

Hello, I'm also having problems tethering. I've tried the default tether method (pull down menu - share mobile network) and with the pdanet method. Using both methods It said I was connected, however I was unable to load any websites using both IE and Chrome. My phone is also rooted. Any suggestions? thanks!
