tether speed extreme slow?

Has anyone tried tethering on their G2x? Is it slow for you? When I do a speedtest.net I get over 2Mbit+ but when I tether, I run speedtest.net on my iPhone I'm getting less than 1Mbit?

Hope Gingerbread fixes this issue or maybe a custom rom...

different problem for me. when i tether on speedtest,net i get a faster speed then the mobile app.

since the update the mobile app is a but pants, i compared the result on that with the \mini version on the website and both versions of the website gave me more consistant results.
