Tethering for an Iphone...

I was with a buddy yesterday and we were discussing the possibility of him designing a website for an organization I am a member. I took out my EVO and showed him the old and very useless website that is currently in place.

After viewing the site, he looked at my phone and asked about it. He then pulled out his Iphone 4g. I complimented his phone and I asked if he had the Words with friends app. He didn't and began to attempt to download it. He couldn't get strong enough signal to complete the download.

I told him to stop and watch for a new hot spot. I enabled tethering for him and with in just a few minutes he was connected had the new app via my EVO. I loved it...

Hmm... interesting... If you were connected to wimax, does that mean his phone was, for the time is was tethered, temporarily an iPhone4G?
